For Barbecue Sauce
Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp
Method of Preparation:
• Preheat the oven.
•Season the shanks with salt, pepper and olive oil,
•Wrap each lamb shank individually in parchment paper and foil.
•Bake it at 175 degrees for 1-2 hours depending on the size of the shanks.
For the Barbecue Sauce
• In a heavy bottom pan, mix all the ingredients and simmer it on a low flame for 10 minutes
until it is well combined.
• Add two spoons of honey if you prefer your barbecue sauce sweet,
• Take it off the flame and let it cool.
To Make Lamb Shank
• Remove the baked shanks from the parchment paper and foil.
• Place the shanks in a deep dish and add the prepared barbecue sauce on the lamb.
• Bake uncovered until lamb is very tender.
